Q: Where does the data come from?
We query Apple's public iTunes Search / Lookup APIs in real time to get each region's current price, and use open exchange-rate APIs to convert to the base currency.
Q: Why do prices differ so much between regions?
Apple lets developers set a separate price per region. Many developers lower prices to match local purchasing power, so some regions are often significantly cheaper.
Q: Can I just buy in the cheaper region?
In principle yes, but you'll need an Apple ID and payment method for that region. Please review Apple's terms of service and regional policies.
Q: How often are prices updated?
Every time you open an app detail page we fetch live data; exchange rates refresh hourly.
